WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU

Our Firm

U.S. Representative Lynn Jenkins has recently established LJ STRATEGIES, LLC, a consulting firm providing strategic analysis, comprehensive government relations at the state and federal levels, political consulting and association management for its clients.  “Kansans have been so generous to me over my 20 years in public service. I look forward to leveraging my experience and relationships built during that time to be a strong advocate for them in this new capacity,” said Jenkins.  “Our goal is to provide responsible and reliable services to obtain proven results for our clients.”

Jenkins will be joined by Pat Leopold, a public policy, campaign, and communications professional who has worked alongside Jenkins for the last 12 years.  “I am honored to be partnering with Congresswoman Jenkins to continue our service to Kansas. Our combined experiences and skill sets will allow us to be tremendous advocates for our clients and delivering results,” said Leopold.

After 10 years of service at the federal level and 10 additional years of service at the state level Congresswoman Jenkins, a CPA by trade, retire from the U.S. House of Representatives at the end of the 115th Congress.  She served in House leadership as Vice Chair of the House Republican Conference for four years, on the House Committee on Financial Services for two years, and eight years on the influential House Committee on Ways and Means. On Ways and Means, Jenkins served as Chairman of the Oversight Subcommittee and advanced public policy initiatives in healthcare, IRS reform, and played a key role in the recent rewrite of the federal tax code.

Pat Leopold brings critical experience and relationships on Capitol Hill and the State of Kansas.  A former employee of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), Leopold has spent the past ten years as Chief of Staff to Congresswoman Jenkins after managing her successful campaign for Congress in 2008.  As Chief of Staff, he managed all her federal and political operations.  In addition, Leopold recently led a top targeted race nationally, successfully helping elect Congressman-Elect Steve Watkins to succeed Jenkins in representing the 2nd Congressional district of Kansas.
